Planning notes for Great Britain & Ireland

These sample programmes are designed as practical working frameworks. A few key points to consider when adapting them:

  • Driving times are often longer than expected, particularly in rural areas. Build in realistic pacing.
  • In key cities such as London, Edinburgh and Dublin, limit car use and consider central accommodation with local transport.
  • Many regions work best with a minimum of two nights to reduce constant packing and improve the overall experience.
  • Seasonal demand can affect availability and pricing, especially in peak summer months.
  • Where possible, balance headline locations with lesser-known areas to create a more distinctive programme.
