Practical notes
- Wilton House, Ranger's House and other private filming locations have limited public opening days. Confirm availability before scheduling.
- Bath becomes busy in peak season, particularly around the Royal Crescent and Roman Baths. Early-morning visits work best.
- Two-night stays at the Chatham and Bath ends of the route reduce constant packing and allow for fuller day touring.
- Driving distances are short between stages, leaving room for in-depth visits at each location.
